GAS Detailing (“GAS Detailing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides automotive detailing, paint correction, ceramic coating, headlight restoration, window tint and custom vinyl services from our shop at 1302 W Main St STE 19, Auburn, WA 98001. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.
It applies to our website at gasdetail.com, our online booking, our social media pages and ads (including Facebook and Instagram lead forms), and any time you contact us by phone, text, email or in person (together, our “Services”). By using our Services, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy.

Contact details, such as your name, phone number, email address and, for mobile service, the address where the work will be done.
•
Vehicle and service details, such as year, make, model, color and condition, the services you’re interested in, and any notes you share (for example, stains, scratches or odors).
•
Photos and videos of your vehicle that you send us.
•
Booking and payment records, such as appointment times, invoices and payment history. Card payments are handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
•
Communications, including messages, call notes, reviews and feedback.
When you submit a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, Meta shares with us the information you submit. Some of it may be prefilled from your profile (such as your name, email address and phone number), along with your answers to our questions.
When you visit our website or interact with our ads, we and our service providers may collect device and usage information, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring links, approximate location and ad interactions. We do this using cookies, pixels and similar technologies (see Section 5).
We do not ask for sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, government ID numbers or health information. Please do not send it to us.
We use personal information to:

respond to your inquiries and provide quotes;
•
schedule, perform and follow up on your service;
•
send appointment confirmations, reminders, invoices and receipts;
•
process payments and keep business and tax records;
•
send promotional messages, if you have agreed to receive them;
•
run, measure and improve our advertising and website; and
•
protect our business, customers and property, prevent fraud, and comply with the law.
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your inquiry, quote, appointment and service. We will send marketing texts only if you have separately agreed to receive them, and agreeing is never a condition of purchase.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, online booking and customer management, payment processing, email and text messaging, and advertising and analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
•
Advertising platforms, such as Meta and Google, to measure and improve our ads (see Section 5).
•
Legal reasons: to comply with the law, legal process or government requests; to enforce our agreements; or to protect the rights, safety and property of GAS Detailing, our customers or others.
•
Business transfers: if our business is sold, merged or reorganized, as part of that transaction.
•
With your permission or at your direction.
Our website and ads may use cookies, pixels (such as the Meta Pixel) and similar tools from us and from partners such as Meta and Google. These help us understand how people use our site, measure whether our ads work, and show ads to people who may be interested in our services, including on other websites and apps. You can:

set your browser to block or delete cookies (some site features may not work);
•
manage ad preferences in your Facebook and Instagram settings and in Google’s My Ad Center; and
•
opt out of interest-based ads from participating companies at optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org.
Our website does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser signals.
We may photograph or film vehicles before, during and after service to document their condition and to show our work on our website and social media. These photos and videos may show your vehicle's license plate. We do not post your name or contact information with them unless you give us permission.If you don't want your vehicle shown publicly, or would like your license plate hidden, just tell us before or after your service. We will not post it, will cover the plate, or will take the post down, whichever you prefer.
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, such as while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterward for warranty, support and record-keeping, or as required by tax and other laws. When it is no longer needed, we delete it or make it de-identified.
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may ask us to:

access or get a copy of the personal information we have about you;
•
correct information that is inaccurate;
•
delete your information, except for records we must keep by law; and
•
stop sending you marketing messages. You can also reply STOP to texts or use the unsubscribe link in our emails.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws. To make a request, contact us using the details in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity first, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.
Our Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Our website and ads link to third-party sites and platforms, such as our online booking provider, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube. Those services are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date. If we make material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice, such as on our website.
